Not yet taff but if Wee Nippy is right in whats she is telling us for my group, I should be contacted for my first soon. My 79yr old mother got hers yesterday, she is a little sore in the arm and has a bit of a headache but she is happy to have had it, that was the Oxford. The Mrs 86yr old aunt had hers 4 days ago with no side effects at all.

Got mine yesterday, the Oxford. No sore arm but I must admit this morning I feel like I was on the ale last night but not with a really bad headache, just a wee bit of a tight head. A few cups of caffeine and a couple of pain killers should set me right...... I hope.

Thats the wife had hers yesterday. She has had to call in sick this morning as its floored her.
TBH it took me over a week to get back on form after I had mine.
Seems not to be uncommon that folk feel pretty crap for a good few days after it, worse than the flu jab for some. But without question its far better than having a dose of covid.

Funny how different folks have different reactions to having the jab... Eileen had the oxford version and had nothing at all from it. Not even a sore arm... may just sneak a whack on it for her so she at least knows what it feels like!!

I had mine a couple of weeks ago and felt nothing at all from it, and surprising how painless the injection was as well, from what I hear they are using extra thin needles so this could be the reason why I didn't even feel the needle going in. Also it may of helped having two quite attractive nurses doing it, they had my mind on other things.

Thats me had my 2nd yesterday. Crashed out last night and my arms a bit sore this morning. Again I feel like I was out on the bevvy last night, no massive headache but really run down and hard of thinking. Lots of caffeine on the cards today I think.

Yes, I must admit to being very happy to have had the 2nd myself given the deaths of a few folk I know and the lasting damage the virus has done to my neighbour.
My brother-in-law got called a "Moron" (amongst other things) the other day as he has bought into the anti-vaxers and is worried that it will give him seizures and alter his DNA; no great loss there.
He was shocked when I told him that until he has had it he can just stay the hell away from us.
Prick probably thinks the earth is flat and that the moon landings were fake too. The web has a lot to answer for at times.

Lucky me got a full third shot the other day, went in expecting a booster but I was met with "you have to get a third full dose". Again its hit me, harder this time than the previous two I think. Not nice but far better than covid.

Hope you're feeling a bit better now feeson, but like you say it's a lot better being well dosed up and avoiding covid. I'm waiting on getting a message to get my booster shot, with the last 2 I never had any after-effects, so hopefully it won't effect me like it as you.
