Thanks bear (I think) that was me spending money before I had even tasted my first coffee of the morning. I was greedy and got a couple on the off chance I can use the board in one to fix a mod I have in need of some TLC.

I must admit at the check out I was "Who the hell are Viva Wallet?" I've never seen that payment processor before. So I started to waiver a bit. These days I just assume everyone is using paypal. On the other hand perhaps its just an indication of how little buying I have done in the last year. If I'm right, and I will check, thats the first hardware I have bought in well over a year, could even be two.

Thanks for the tip bear, but I most admit I waited a bit until I noticed that feeson had got his, and now 2 little mods on the way to me now.

Well that was surprising quick delivery. as 2 lovely mods turned up today, and I must admit they are great little mods, taking both 18650 and 26650 batteries, and very comfortable to use. Bargain of the year so far.

The only stone I will throw at them is there is no onboard charging. Despite the USB slot being called the "Charging slot" in the instructions, with the words "for update only, NOT for charging the battery" underneath. That was very nearly an Ouchy on my part. Other than that they are a Billy Bargain.

I only quickly glanced over the feeson and must of missed that bit about the charging port, but then I have never really trusted charging the batteries on any mod itself and always used an external battery charger. But I can see the annoying others who may have brought the mod thinking that it could charge batteries, anyway I not really bothered as I am really am enjoying using these mods, and still cannot believe how much we managed to get hold of these for.

TBH Balders I dont get why folk are still so reserved about onboard charging these days. Its a dedicated chip set to do it, so why not is my thinking. I've not had an issues and its as quick/quicker than my external charger. I've noticed no deleterious effects on my batteries. It makes travelling much easier having to pack less gear, just a USB charging block that does all your bits and bobs and you can top up in lots of places, even a car as your going. But I'm with you. Thanks to bear I still cant believe I got two Chieftans and a sapor RTA delivered for a shade under £18?? Well smack me thrice and take me to your mama.
