This is a test of various types of wicking materials to try and find out which produces the best flavour. We have been talking about this very subject on the forum, and though it would be good to see something that goes a little more in-depth.

For my RTA's it's Titanium Cotton Blend... love the ease of use and most importantly the flavour!

Glad to hear that you are enjoying the Titanium fibre cotton Rob I haven't seen that for sale in the UK yet but then I haven't searched that much for it, but I still love my cheap and cheerful cotton puff pads which always have given me good flavour and good wicking.

I have tried nearly all the wicking materials around even the cotton balls from our local pharmacy that kept me going for a quite a while at the beginning of my journey. I never really took to Ko Gen Doh and it's derivates and always got a funny taste from them... I spent a year or so back in the day on Rayon which was a revelation for me especially for the menthol fruit juices... I imported a big box of rayon and it's still half full despite giving away tons of it... Then the vape vendors started producing wicking material especially for us and I tested many of them with varying levels of success and failure... Cotton Bacon was in service for quite a while... then came Royal Wicks which I still think is great... Cotton Bacon Prime arrived recently but while I think it does pretty well in drippers and squonkers doesn't work that well for me in RTA's. Titanium Fiber Cotton is brilliant to work with and excels in RTA's.

I have a lot of good things said about rayon but never sourced out a good place to get hold of some or what type I should be looking for.

I thought that you meant the rayon thread that some people had talked about in the past Rob and not the cotton, and I have purchased some of that cellucotton in the past but in the tanks I use I preferred the organic cotton pads, but each to their own and we all have different vaping styles and tastes and some wicking materials will suit some but not others. But that's what I like about the vaping world nowadays, we have a lot more choices.

and a Lot more "am best" things designed ,,to empty vapours wallets with hype-claims
(including n not limited to false claims of wicking, resistance to burning (while having nothing added at all,,, *bûllsh*t*) and false endorsements by "reviewers" ,, (angorrabbit/djlsb/led/lsdwotever)

Amazon for Cellucotton.. but make sure you get the 100% rayon cellucotton.. I know.. confusing much ? .. hey its for hairdressers !
it wicks.. even heavy VG in winter ( well my winter !) in RDTA with ease.. but.. I still prefer something like a cotton bacon v2/native wicks.. in rda's.. why ?.. not sure.. I think its mindset ! lol

Must admit the same here Lynne, been using cotton bacon for a long while, and apart from the odd muji pads, which i also quite like, its my go-to cotton. having said that, mesh is still far better!!
