Used to use Rayon back in the day when all cotton had a horrible taste… and I still have a HUGE box of it which I will never use in fifteen lifetimes… I have been through all the cottons with varying degrees of success until I found Royal Wicks which I really enjoyed… then came Titanium Fiber Cotton which is top class and very easy to work with. Recently I was recommended to try Mavaton X. It looks funky and you must remove the odd bits of cotton seed and it’s a hassle to work with… BUT… the flavour it gives is the best of the bunch so despite it’s looks and hassle factor it’s my go-to wicking material! PS It’s also not cheap.

Well I got some SWAG and some Cotton Gods. I've not tried the Cotton Gods yet but thats because I am very much liking the SWAG. I've only been using it for a little over a week but I am really liking it. There is a taste off it (not unpleasant at all) at the start for the first few toots but then it just goes to a nice place. My juice does taste different from the cotton bacon and the organic balls I had been using but there was also a difference between those two, so whats the true taste of my juice, no one will ever know. The SWAG wicks very well in tanks and RDA's but I have noticed that it does not expand as much in the coil when wet as others so it has to be a bit tighter than I would normally do when building. Overall I'm very pleased

Well I defaulted back to cotton bacon after a while as I was finding my wicks were going off very quickly but now I am again on the hunt as my pack of bacon is getting low and with the last pack the flavor was/is not as good as the older stuff for me.
So is there anything newish out there that you guys recommend? Whats working for you these days?

Cotton bacon has always given my juices a totally different taste to my juices that I wasn't keen on so still using cellucotton or some organic cotton puff pads, depending on what atty I am using.

I would not say you were turning into a cheapskate taff more waking up to the fact that all the other stuff out there is just overpriced snake oil. I still use and swear by the el cheapo cotton wool balls from Wilko. Last bag of them cost me 50p and lasted me 5 years, new bag cost me £1 but I'm not gonna complain.

As a FYI I got in a tub of Fuzion cotton last week. What a difference to the cotton bacon, as in HUGE.
I've been running it in my 3 regular daily attys and am very happy at how things are.
I dont know if it was the last pack of bacon I had that was off, but I could not get a vape I was happy with taste wise. With the Fuzion everything is popping, no break in, no funny background flavour. Just Yum. The price is more than fair I think at £3.40 for just under 2m via amazon.
As to life span, I use a juice that chokes coils after a day or two so I dont know if this will give less mileage than the bacon for other folk, it seems about usual to me with my stuff. At the price point and the quality of the vape I wont be too bothered if it does turn out to be needing replaced a bit more frequently, but right now I am not seeing that.
One downside; they have really stuffed the cotton roll into the tub so it's hard to know where the cotton runs from the center it's so densely packed. I did a decant and recoiled it so its easier to take from the end but a slightly wider tub would make life a lot easier at the start. I am looking about the house for a neutral scented tub so I can cut off a short length to put the Fuzion into to make life easier.
Big thumbs up from me.

I've yet to try any Fuzion cotton feeson so I've gone and ordered 2 tubs from Amazon to see if it's as good as you say it is. And thanks for the tip.

Lets hope it was not just bad cotton bacon and off SWAG that I was using before hand Balders I'd decant it first and sort the run to get the roll to pull a lot easier, that would have been handy to known when I got mine in. An old cotton bud (Q tip) tub has come to my aid there as a neutral storage for some of my carton. Hope you like it and if its Amazon logistics delivering it dont forget your photo ID to prove to the Amazon driver your old enough to buy cotton, a non age restricted material that a 4 year old can buy

I don't know what beauty products you use as I'm not as young looking as you feeson so I've never been ask for a photo ID to prove my age. And I went off bacon cotton a long time ago, so I'm looking forward to trying this Fuzion cotton and see how it compares to the organic cotton puff pads I've been using.

The worst on I have read so far Balders is an 84 year old woman being asked for photo ID for tonic water being delivered by Amazon logistics, just tonic water. They would not accept her OAP bus pass as proof she was over 18. I Sh1t you not.

But on the plus side it makes some of us appear really intelligent

Balders I was wondering how you are getting on with the Fuzion in the hope I have not led you to a disappointment? Amazon has dropped them off at the post office on Wednesday, I was going to pick them up after work but the tailback from some roadworks put me off collecting them as I decided waiting in a traffic queue for perhaps an hour or so wasn't my type of fun!! Hopefully sometime this weekend I will pop down and get them, and then I'll tell what I think about this new cotton.

Well after spending a week with this Fuzion cotton and can say it's a lot better than the bacon cotton, but it can be a bit of a struggle finding which way to pull it apart to make a wick. Aside from that I do get a nice clean vape from this cotton, and find it on par with the organic puff cotton I have been using regularly both for taste and longevity.
